The Royal Botanic Garden

My granddaughter Luisa and I spent an afternoon at the gardens in Edinburgh. It is a beautiful space.  The grounds are extensive and welcoming, with lawns for picnicking and plenty of benches in the shade.  The outdoor part is free and open daily.  The glass greenhouses are inexpensive and well worth   the contribution.  Public transportation in a Edinburgh is very efficient and really the best way to get around, especially if you are not used to driving on the left side of the car on the left side of the road. The buses are double deckers and Luisa and I liked to ride in the front seat of the top on the several trips we took together.
