Cork

Cork is Ireland’s second largest city and considered by its locals to be the real capital of Ireland, as it is verity proud of its independence and heritage. It began as a monastic settlement in the 6th century. The Vikings moved ion and established a trading port in the 9th century, In the 12th city, the Normans walled the city, protecting the trading port. Cork thrived on butter exports in the 18th and 19th century. It was a significant center of resistance during the Irish War of Independence in 1920, leading to the feeling today that Cork is the heartfelt capital of Ireland.  The British burned down the city center then, but its citizens swiftly rebuilt it into the beautiful and thriving town it is presently. You can feel the pride and love there. And the women have such shiny hair. Sometimes it’s the detail that most reveals character.

I found it a happy, vibrant and beautiful city, and the women have the shiniest hair.
